He studied architecture and throughout his career he has been involved in collaborative projects, traveling to countries such as Peru, Cambodia, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso. It was during one of those trips that he decided to focus on water. Antonio Espinosa de los Monteros is CEO and co-founder of @Auara, a social enterprise that bottles mineral water in 100% recycled and recyclable containers to prevent plastic from reaching the sea. It also allocates all its profits to develop projects for access to drinking water for those who need it most.

Antonio and Auara are now part of Ocean Connections, leaders of sustainable change on board the world's first community of action for the oceans.
