For World Oceans Day 2022, we had something big: we created the first digital platform to connect leaders of change for the oceans. Our mission was crucial\u2014 it was about launching a platform that would allow us to go from storytelling to story-doing through actions with real impact. We aimed to launch a platform capable of becoming an engine of sustainable change for our oceans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mission to launch The Ocean Connections platform presented a dual challenge: first, the need to communicate the existence of the platform, and second, the need to do so in an exemplary manner. With a concrete and real story-doing that connected world leaders in a cause with a positive impact on the oceans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are surfers, and we solved it our way. We created a connection between TrashPeak (who make surfboards with plastic waste recovered from the seas) and M\u00e9s que Surf (an organization that helps children with autism through surfing) We launched the platform with an exemplary action, moving from storytelling to StoryDoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The launch of the action was a success, both on social media\u2014where we reached millions of impressions 100% organically\u2014and for what it meant for The Ocean Connections. We launched a platform that continues to generate connection, linking story-doers from all over the world in support of the oceans. We finally created a network that didn\u2019t exist before, a network designed to connect those who make change happen\u2014the story-doers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
